Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 532448), to commence as soon as possible for two or three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Microbiology, Biological/Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline. They should have at least 2 years’ research experience and technical skills in next generation sequencing, including library preparation and bioinformatics analysis. Experience in developing bioinformatics pipeline and maintaining computer server would be an advantage. The appointee will involve in research projects related to emerging infectious diseases under the supervision of Prof. Kelvin To.
